Lindsay Hart
Founder & President
Lindsay Hart is the Founder and President of CowgirlUp.org, where she leads the organization’s vision to expand education, opportunity, access, and growth within shooting sports. She brings a strong entrepreneurial background built on launching and scaling mission-driven initiatives that connect community, education, and performance. With extensive experience in marketing strategy, brand development, and business growth, Lindsay has built a career focused on turning ideas into impactful, sustainable organizations. She has a strong background as a college instructor, with a deep commitment to education and helping students build confidence, skills, and direction. Outside of her professional work, she is passionate about the outdoors—especially hiking Colorado’s 14ers—and values time spent with family as a central part of her life. Through CowgirlUp.org, she blends her love of teaching, the outdoors, and active participation in shooting sports to help empower youth and build and strengthen community connections.

Renae Bowsell
VP Education & Events
Renae Boswell is a passionate advocate for education, community, and field sports, bringing creativity and strong leadership to the CowgirlUp.Org team. She grew up immersed in outdoor recreation,
4-H leadership, and historical re-enactments, where she developed a deep appreciation for learning and community. As a 4-H chapter president, she introduced new programs and led educational trips exploring Native American history and cultural sites. Her involvement in mountain man rendezvous further strengthened her leadership skills and commitment to family and community values. Professionally, Renae is an operating room registered nurse, where her critical thinking and ability to make precise, timely decisions are essential. A lifelong competitor in multiple shooting disciplines, she is dedicated to empowering youth in the sport and inspiring others to achieve their goals.


Darin Smith
VP Fundraising
Darin Smith serves as Vice President of Fundraising for CowgirlUp.org, bringing extensive experience in shooting sports education, youth development, and nonprofit fundraising. He is a certified firearms instructor and Range Safety Officer with Centennial Gun Club, where he teaches pistol, rifle, shotgun, and competitive shooting fundamentals. Darin has been actively involved with Friends of NRA, supporting fundraising efforts that help sustain youth shooting programs, range development, and educational outreach initiatives. He is deeply committed to expanding access to safe, structured firearms education and building strong community partnerships that support long-term program growth. A decorated competitor and coach, Darin is a two-time state champion in Cowboy Action Shooting and a state USPSA champion. In his role with CowgirlUp.org, he focuses on growing resources and opportunities that empower youth across all shooting sports disciplines.
